⭐ BOOMTOWN RECAP — TY CALDWELL MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
Forest Creek Golf Club • August 29, 2026
Yesterday wasn’t just a golf tournament — it was a community coming together with purpose, pride, and energy. The Ty Caldwell Memorial Tournament continues to grow into one of the most meaningful charity events in Central Texas, and American Golf Network was honored to bring Boomtown to the fairway for this year’s celebration.
This event isn’t just about golf. It’s about legacy, education, and impact.
🎓 The Cause — Why We Show Up
The Ty Caldwell Memorial Scholarship Fund supports students in Williamson County and surrounding areas, helping them pursue higher education, mentorship, and opportunities that change the trajectory of their lives.
Every swing, every raffle ticket, every donation fuels that mission. And yesterday, you could feel that purpose in the air.
🏌️ The Event — Who Made It Special
The Wilco Omega Scholarship Foundation and the Omicron Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. hosted an incredible day — organized, welcoming, and full of heart. Their commitment to community uplift is the reason this tournament keeps growing year after year.
Golfers showed up ready. Volunteers showed up proud. Families showed up to support. And Boomtown brought the spark.
🔥 Boomtown Energy — What AGN Delivered
From the moment the tents went up and the flags lined the fairway, golfers knew they were stepping into something different. Boomtown isn’t just a hole — it’s an experience.
The Krank arsenal on display
The America 250 branding
The long-drive runway down the fairway
The crowds gathering at the tee box
The kids stopping to see what the hype was about
The stickers everyone wanted to pose with
Boomtown turned a single hole into a highlight of the entire tournament.

5TH ANNUAL RADIO M*A*S*H GOLF TOURNAMENT
What a day in College Station.
On July 27th, over 100 golfers packed Pebble Creek Country Club for the 5th Annual Radio MASH Charity Golf Tournament* — an event that raises money to buy toys for local kids across Brazos County.
This was our third year partnering with Radio MASH*, and every year the impact gets bigger.
A huge thank‑you to Rene Pick for the invite and for everything she does to support the youth of Brazos County. Her commitment to this mission is the heartbeat of this event, and we’re proud to stand beside her.
American Golf Network brought the energy with Boomtown and the Par 3 Payback Zone, turning the course into a full‑day experience instead of a standard scramble.
And the Krank Long Drive results were electric:
Open Division Winner: Justin Weber — 350 yards
Seniors/Women Division Winner: Tommy Homeyer — 280 yards
To every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and partner — thank you for showing up with heart. Pebble Creek was an incredible host. Radio MASH* continues to change lives. And the Brazos Valley proved once again what community looks like.
Golf is the platform. Impact is the mission. See you next year.

NUCOR Memphis × TPC Southwind — 1st Annual Golf Tournament
Yesterday wasn't just golf — it was impact.
This event directly supports Operation Steel Warrior and their 2026 honoree, Tyler Vargas‑Andrews, a U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant who survived the Kabul airport attack and has dedicated his life to helping others rebuild after trauma.
Because of the generosity of everyone involved, this tournament is helping build Tyler a home — a place designed for his needs, his recovery, and his mission to serve veterans and first responders through his nonprofit, The Collective. This is the kind of work that changes lives long after the last ball is hit.
And the competition brought the fire:
Open Bracket Long Drive Champion: Roger Anderson — 375 yards
Seniors/Women's Long Drive Champion: Mary Morgan — 225 yards
Huge thank‑you to the incredible TPC Southwind staff for delivering a flawless venue and experience. And a special shoutout to Micah Halfacre at NUCOR Memphis for leading a purpose‑driven event that brings community, charity, and the game together.
This is golf with meaning. This is what we show up for.
American Golf Network was proud to highlight an event supporting 1-800-BoardUp. The organization helps communities respond after property damage by providing emergency board-up services and coordinating recovery support, helping protect homes and businesses while the next steps are arranged.
